Enrico Pons


Enrico Pons received the master degree in electrical engineering in 2004 and the Ph.D. degree in industrial safety and risk analysis in 2008 from Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy. Presently, he works with Politecnico di Torino as a Research Assistant. He worked as a teaching assistant to several courses in Politecnico di Torino. He is currently a work package leader of the project SESAME (Securing the European Electricity Supply Against Malicious And Accidental Threats), cofounded by the EC. His research activities include complexity in energy systems, power systems security, complex networks methodologies for the analysis of power systems vulnerability and electrical safety. He co-authored more than 10 publications on various topics related to power systems and electrical engineering.
